The Dental Sealant Grant Program provided free preventive dental services to children ages 3 to 17 in Cobden, Pinckneyville, Marion, Murphysboro, and surrounding areas this summer. Services include exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants performed by senior dental hygiene students. The exam fulfills state requirements for children who will be entering kindergarten, second, and sixth grade this fall.
