Five CASA students receive Textbook Scholarship Awards

Five College of Applied Sciences and Arts students received the Textbook Scholarship Awards for the 2016 spring semester sponsored by the SIU Alumni Association:
o Paul Egbo, Senior, Aviation Management;
o Daen Glover, Senior, Aviation Management;
o Samantha Hennig, Junior, Dental Hygiene;
o Emily Miller, Freshman, Radiologic Sciences; and
o Emily Shoaf, Freshman, Radiologic Sciences.
The Textbook Scholarship Awards Ceremony was held last Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in the Student Center Ballrooms. This has become an annual tradition of the Association, with hundreds of students receiving this financial assistance since 2008. To receive the award, students must demonstrate a financial need and have a GPA of at least 3.0. Each student who receives a scholarship made brief comments during the ceremony.
