From the Dean: A Season of Celebration at CHHS
I write this after just celebrating 733 graduates from SIU Carbondale’s College of Health and Human Sciences. On May 11, we rocked the Banterra Center, and it truly was a sight to see. Although summer is just starting, we are already planning for the fall as we will have many events and opportunities to connect with all of you.

Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders: Changing lives and communities
The positive impact of the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders extends well beyond what it does on a daily basis for children and their families. It is felt throughout the families’ hometowns and the entire region. The center and its staff are active in community outreach and involvement in a wide variety of ways, including free training, making events more friendly to children on the spectrum, and more.
