Faculty and students in the College of Health and Human Sciences participate in diverse, intriguing research that literally changes lives. Our researchers are heavily cited, recognized leaders in their fields. They welcome students to join them in groundbreaking, experiential research on topics as eclectic as food insecurity and sustainable food practices, early intervention in communication disorders, assisting veterans in transitioning to civilian life, enhancing the lives of people with disabilities, vaping behaviors and cessation, alternative fuels, exploring mental health issues among air traffic controllers, improving the lives of those who suffered childhood trauma, violence prevention, treatment and reintegration of justice-involved individuals, the problems and solutions of electric vehicles, and a vast array of other timely subjects and issues.

In our research labs and centers, classrooms and far beyond, our research faculty transform the lives of their students and society as a whole. You’ll also find them serving leadership roles within professional organizations as their research is published in journals and publications worldwide.
